A great way to enjoy our waterfowling is to do a morning goose hunt, and an afternoon duck hunt. We have been doing afternoon duck hunts since 1988.

We have five coast guard licensed
guides with boats.
Most of our hunts are out of
Port O'Connor, Texas on coastal marshes and in no way effects the goose hunting for the next morning.
We mostly hunt shallow water bay flats
for Pintail, Red Heads, Widgeons
and teal.

80% of the Red Head population of North America winter in the coastal marshes of Texas which we regularly hunt.
This is a unique experience that rivals the thrill of Ark Timber Hunting with ease.

You will need Cammo clothing, waders, shotgun, camera, & shells.
We recommend 2's 3's or 4 shot for ducks.

Our afternoon duck hunts, we go where the birds are. We do not depend on a fixed blind for our hunting success. If no brush is available where the ducks want to be, we will cut brush to put in the boat and bring to the best area for that afternoon.

Normally all of our afternoon duck hunts are for private parties of three to four hunters
with a guide. You may share the boat for transportation with another party, but we do not hunt out of the boats, they are for
transportation only.

The experience of an afternoon duck hunt
on the bay by boat is an adventure in itself for anyone not familiar with coastal wetland marshes.

Shells are available at the lodge.
